SFA Sarnia Sting Chuck-a-Puck Fundraiser

Chuck-a-Puck Fundraiser

St. Francis Advocates / Sarnia Sting Chuck-a-Puck Fundraiser

This year, St. Francis Advocates has teamed up with the Sarnia Sting to host a Chuck-a-Puck Fundraiser at an upcoming Sarnia Sting Game!!  This event will be a lot of fun and a chance for some lucky people to win some great hockey-themed prizes!!

How it works:

              • Participants will purchase numbered pucks, in advance or at the game. Pucks are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.
              • On game day, in the second intermission, all bought pucks will be thrown at targets on the ice.  The closest to the targets wins the prizes.
              • Proceeds from the sales of pucks go directly to St. Francis Advocates

You will be supporting us, and potentially having a good time seeing some amazing OHL hockey!!

So, you may be asking how you can participate!!  Well, that is simple.  There are three ways to be involved in this.

  1. Buy pucks (in advance or at the game)
You can simply purchase pucks.  If you buy them in advance, then we will assign you the numbered pucks on the day of the game and have our people “chuck them” onto the ice for you.  If your puck is closest, you WIN!
  2. Buy your tickets to the game from US!!
We are selling tickets to the game at a discount.  Contact us to purchase your ticket for $20.00 (regularly $22.00) and a portion of the sales from each ticket comes right back to St. Francis Advocates.  Save money ($2.00) and donate ($4.00) at the same time!!
  3. Volunteer to sell pucks at the game.
We need people to help us sell pucks at the game.  It would a great opportunity for people supported, kids, or staff and families.  Every volunteer would need to have a ticket to the game as well.  During the first 2 periods, especially before the game and during the first intermission, volunteers would be selling pucks to the fans at the game.  During the second intermission, the pucks get chucked, and we may be asked to help clean up the ice.
