Who we are

SFA has been advocating for and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities since 1984 in Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex. Our dedicated employees support individuals from Grand Bend to Windsor, and all parts in-between.

We have a long history of thinking outside of the box and finding ways to support individuals, families and employees to meet their unique needs.

We may be small, but we are full of heart. Our size has allowed us to keep a home atmosphere and truly provide individualized supports for people with developmental disabilities.

Welcome to our family.

Our Mission

SFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities. We are committed to empowering people by promoting independence, providing opportunities, encouraging growth through education, developing partnerships and collaborating with communities, within a caring environment.

Our Vision

Providing innovative, creative and progressive supports on an individualized basis.

Our Motto

Dedicated to making a difference.

Our Board

We are actively seeking volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. If you live in an area we serve, are community minded and committed to helping people with developmental disabilities live their best lives, we’d love to have you on our board.
